Project Summary

Beauty brands that sell through social platforms depend on how-to content to drive purchases. A tutorial that shows an older product version signals to viewers – often before they consciously realize it – that the brand isn’t keeping up. And when the product line gets updated, all that existing video content becomes a quiet liability: still ranking, still being seen, but no longer accurately representing what’s available to buy. Rebuilding from scratch is expensive and slow. Finding a smarter way to refresh and modernize what’s already working is the better move.Daniel Faraone-Horton, founder of Diablo Cosmetics, came to VORTEX.video with exactly this situation. He had an existing how-to video with a solid structure – same music, same captions, same general edit – but the footage showed an older product kit. He needed it updated with new Rouge Oriental footage, cleaned up throughout, and expanded with a short promotional section that featured modern text transitions and a review highlight. He also needed platform-specific cuts for TikTok and Snapchat, with text repositioned within safe zones and branding removed where platform guidelines required.We handled the footage swap, built the new promo section, and delivered every version he needed. Daniel’s response at each step was clear and positive, and the final results matched what he was looking for from the very first review.
