I have VORTEX.video contracted to finish two corporate videos: a warehouse tour with our COO, and a set of small, high-quality clips for social media.
Warehouse Tour Video:
My first ask was for a simple edit on B roll of existing footage from a warehouse tour with our COO.
Since we have no script, I needed VORTEX.video to improvise with this raw footage.
Specifically, I desired pop-up graphics which would appear and smoothly transition as the COO pointed out various aspects of the warehouse, much like their work in a previous green tea video that I was trying to emulate.
Social Media Video Edits:
First, even though the warehouse tour was the first project, I intended to establish a long-term partnership with VORTEX.video, which would edit all of our future video content. This content would consist of a series of short, social media bite-sized clips of about 30ish seconds each, developed in that same high-quality production style.
Long story short, I essentially hired VORTEX.video to create a couple of visually engaging, informative videos that would:
Demonstrate our warehousing business with clarity and engagement using pop-up graphics.
Increase our social media presence with a collection of high-quality short video clips.
Become our go-to video editing partner for future projects.
My task for VORTEX.video was to get two corporate videos edited; one will be a warehouse walkthrough, and the other is a series of short interview clips and will be for future projects if we like their work. For the first video, I provided the footage of our COO walking through a warehouse. We had no script for this video, but I still sent guidance to make it more engaging. What was particularly remarkable about that is how I saw pop-up graphics coming, transitioning out again as the COO walked and talked about different warehouse areas, much like a green tea video I sent as an example by VORTEX.video. The second facet that has been on pause was editing various interview clips into podcast-style videos, the sort of chats that are about 30 seconds long. I asked for the ETAs on those.
Key Deliverables:
A warehouse walkthrough video with overlaid pop-up graphics that emphasize critical points spoken by the COO.
Deliverables: VORTEX.video editing enhanced the warehouse tour video. Initially, it was to be a basic walkthrough with some of the features appearing from time to time.
It was measurable an improvement in a couple of ways:
Enhanced Visual Appeal: Without a question, the pop-up and transitional features that VORTEX.video added to the video made it more visually stimulating overall. This was not subjective alone but can be objectively confirmed by a more interactive experience by the viewer.
Project On Budget: The budget initially set by VORTEX.video was definitely adhered to, according to both qualitative and quantitative metrics.
