Project Summary

Podcasts lose something when they just sit on YouTube. A static two-shot of people talking – even about genuinely interesting things – rarely holds attention on a platform built around visual engagement. Watch time drops fast. Viewers don’t make it to the end. And for a creator who has put real thought into the conversation, that’s a frustrating result for content that deserved better.

Felipe Fontes, a digital content creator focused on community growth and podcast development, brought VORTEX.video a multi-camera podcast recording that had exactly this problem. The conversation was compelling. The visual experience wasn’t. He needed someone to translate a raw recording into a YouTube video that looked professional, held attention throughout, and respected the natural tone of the conversation without overdoing the production value.

We handled the full post-production: syncing multi-camera footage, balancing audio, adding B-roll and captions, scoring background music, and bringing in AI-generated visuals to support key moments in the conversation. The finished video was clean, professionally produced, and – by Felipe’s own description – exactly what he had in mind. He also described how easy the process felt throughout, which matters when you’re building a new content partnership.

The challenge Felipe presented to VORTEX.video was typical. He needed engaging multi-camera podcast that lacked the quality needed for success on YouTube. Raw podcast recordings, without careful editing, quickly lose viewers on a platform where production standards are high and attention is hard to keep.

The raw podcast recording had solid content. What it lacked was visual variety. Multi-camera footage gives you the material to create a dynamic edit – but without the right pacing and supporting visuals, it still ends up feeling like a recording rather than a video.The challenge was adding visual energy without disrupting the natural flow of the conversation. B-roll and graphics had to support the talking points without competing with them. Music had to sit in the background without making the episode feel over-produced. Captions had to be clean and accurate without cluttering the frame. Every addition had to improve the experience, not just add complexity.

We started by syncing and cleaning the multi-camera footage – aligning audio across sources and leveling the mix so both voices sounded balanced and natural throughout. From there, we paced the cuts to let the conversation breathe, switching angles at natural speaking transitions rather than forcing movement that would distract from the content.B-roll and captions were placed selectively at moments where a visual anchor helped reinforce a point, not as filler. Background music was chosen to match the episode’s tone: present enough to add atmosphere, quiet enough to stay out of the way. AI-generated visuals from Midjourney and Runway added subtle visual interest in key sections without pulling focus from the speakers.All editing was handled in Adobe Premiere Pro, with After Effects managing motion graphics and text animations. Envato assets supplemented the stock library. Descript generated subtitles, with Happy Scribe providing a secondary accuracy review pass across the full episode length.

The final video landed exactly where Felipe wanted it: professional, clean, and engaging to watch without feeling over-produced. Multi-camera transitions were smooth, B-roll integrated naturally, captions were readable without being visually heavy, and the background music set the right tone from start to finish.

The video has since reached [X views] on Felipe’s YouTube channel, with watch-time performance reflecting the stronger retention that comes from a visually active, well-paced podcast edit.
